Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for B Strong Ride on Saturday, August 8, 2026! The volunteer staff is critically important to the success of the event. We greatly appreciate your assistance and look forward to working with you.

5 W’s of B Strong Volunteering

WHO: You!

WHY: To help with a great event for a great cause. B Strong raises funds for a complete year of cancer care at B Strong Center for Integrative Care at Boulder Community Health.

WHERE: B Strong ride starts and finishes at Celestial Seasonings northeast of Boulder. Event Routes

WHEN: To volunteer you must be available for:

1. Volunteer briefing meeting: Tuesday, August 4 at 6:00 p.m. at Celestial Seasonings

2. B Strong Ride: Saturday, August 8. Shifts vary depending upon assignment. Options include:

Early: 6 a.m. – 12 noon
Late: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All Day: 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.

WHAT: Volunteer Positions include:

HQ Site and Registration: Work at Celestial Seasonings site throughout the day.

Road Marshal: Warn cyclists at intersections and other locations on the ride.

Aid Station Attendant: Distribute food and drinks at rest stops.

Sag Vehicle Driver: Transport riders unable to complete ride (note: this is an all day shift)

Medic Vehicle Driver: Provide medical support on the route. Must be EMT, paramedic, nurse or physician. (note: this is an all day shift)

TRANSPORTATION NOTE:
Volunteers working the following positions will use a B Strong Sponsor Vehicle: Sag Vehicle Driver, Medic, Aid Station Distribution Team. If you are assigned to a position on the ride routes other than above (aid station or marshal), are you able to use your vehicle to get to your assigned location? If you tell us to plan on you, we’re planning on you. If your schedule changes and you can’t fulfill your commitment, please advise us ASAP! Come ride day, barring a true emergency, we will be relying upon volunteers being there!
